About

Hi and welcome to my blog!
My hope is that the things I post encourage, challenge, and are things you can relate to on some level.  The Christian life is a process and a journey.  As brothers and sisters in Christ, we are to build up and encourage our faith family.  Writing out what I am learning and what God is teaching me is one way that I can accomplish this.
I started this blog not long after I came back to Christ.  I grew up in a Christian home with parents who knew the Lord, but my heart still rebelled.  When I came back to Christ I had discovered that writing helped me process things.   I also wanted others to know my story about what God had done in my life and is continuing to do.  Having said this: I need to remind you, dear readers, that as time goes on my writing progresses grows and my relationship with Christ does as well.  I keep my old posts because together it is my story.  It shows that progression and what God is doing.

Feel free to email me if you ever have questions or prayer requests.  My email is: redeemedjourney@gmail.com  I loved to hear your story of how God redeemed your life too! 🙂

I’m a daughter of the God who created the universe and breathed life into you and me! I was lost in the darkness buried in lies, but Christ’s love pursued, and His love overcame the darkness! And now I walk in the light! He redeemed my life and brings beauty out of the mess that was my life.  I’m on this journey of healing, freedom, and understanding the joy in what God has planned for me.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (NLT)
9 Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. 11 Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Fun Fact: My blog was originally called Coram Deo Girl.  The reason this was originally the blog name:

Coram Deo is a Latin phrase translated “in the presence of God” from Christian theology[1] which summarizes the idea of Christians living in the presence of, under the authority of, and to the honor and glory of God. (Wikipedia)

This was also my youth group’s theme the year I came back to Christ. 🙂

I have recently changed my blog name to reflect the dramatic change God has brought into my life.  It also reflects the shift in my purpose for this blog.  It reflects the purpose I believe God is calling me to more-to tell my story and how He redeemed what I thought was unredeemable!

P.S.  All posts are based on my own personal beliefs and understanding of the Bible and what God is teaching me unless otherwise noted.  They are not necessarily those of a specific organization or affiliation.
