Hi ladies!
I am so excited that first, you found my blog! Welcome! My prayer is that through the words here you get to know me a little more and find hope and encouragement.
Second, I very excited to let you all know that God has provided me with the opportunity to start a group through my church for women who are struggling with pornography, being consumed with being in a relationship, fantasy/thoughts, and all aspects of sexual purity. Each week will focus on going through some material kind of tailored to what you ladies in the group are struggling with but will focus a lot on learning where our identity, value, and contentment comes from. While growing in understanding God’s grace and forgiveness. There is a wide range of ways that as women we can struggle with relationships and purity. Some of what we will talk about is how sometimes we put being in a relationship, getting married, or chasing guys as an obsession in our lives, which can lead to unhealthy relationships. We can also struggle with what we read, the movies and TV shows we watch, masturbation, and pornography. All those things may look a little different from how guys struggle, but that doesn’t mean women don’t struggle too. We may end up tackling all those subject or it just might be a few. At the first meeting, I’ll get a better feel. 🙂
My goal is to help you and the other ladies at least start their journey to freedom and to find a healthy God-centered view on sexuality and relationships.
