Words that make you laugh and make you cry

I feel it rising up in me
Words
Emotions

And just like that all the words and emotions become a muddied mess
They swirl together into one dark stream
And disappear as quickly as they came

I want to say something meaningful

But all my thoughts are blank walls
And I’m left trying to find where the words all went
